You Suck, Sandy.

I’ve been on Sandy-watch since last night and I can’t believe some of the pictures I’m seeing of the floods and hurricane damage in New York and other parts of the East Coast. 

You’d think I’d be used to seeing this type of devastation since the Philippines is hit by typhoons pretty often…

… and we’ve seen Mother Nature on PMS mode more times than we care to recount…

But no, I don’t think you ever get used to this type of thing. It always sucks.

And it bums me out that there’s not a lot I can do to help from over here. It’s not as if I can provide shelter to evacuees or anything…

 

So GAH. What do I do??  Let me know if you have any ideas.

In the meantime I’ll be stalking Twitter, gasping at photos, praying for everyone’s safety, and cheering on all the heroes who are out there doing more than I can.
